Think back of the turn of the millennium. The Eiffel Tower in Paris was decorated with thousands of little lights, that alltogether beamed like a star. Now, if a Ferris-wheel was decorated with the carnival LED strobes, the impression would at least be a bit similar. Those LED strobes are definitely an adequate replacement for the traditional light bulbs. On the one hand strobing is no problem for LEDs and on the other hand, the well known advantages of the LED technology outweigh all the benefits of the conventional bulbs.
